Diana Sojourner

Diana Sojourner is a qualified Environmental Specialist with 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, ranging from law to production and service, and consulting.  Through her education and practical work experience she has developed a diverse set of complementary skills.  Nearly four years as a Legal Assistant has equipped her with an understanding of the legal processes and perspectives associated with oil and gas operations.  She subsequently performed work as an Applications Technician for a company engaged in designing and manufacturing emission control equipment and water treatment systems.  For the past 14 years she has provided support to the energy industry as an environmental consultant.

As an Environmental Specialist she has a solid understanding of rules and regulations governing different permitting and compliance processes.  Her experience and technical expertise is demonstrated by her contributions to numerous projects including Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), water quality permitting and monitoring, air permitting, and assisting clients in achieving compliance under environmental permits and regulations. She has prepared annual reporting for oil and gas operations including Tier II, Greenhouse Gas, and state air quality emissions inventories.

Ms. Sojourner has established working relationships with regulatory agencies and uses a professional approach to determine and meet project needs and deadlines.  Her knowledge and experience have provided her with the necessary skills to effectively plan and execute projects.
